A Nod To The Past?

Today as I was listening to the radio I finally heard Lady Gaga's new song Born This Way. As I was listening I couldn't help but notice not only did it have an 80's type vibe, but it also reminded me a lot of Madonnas Vogue song. To me the song sounds a little different then her normal sound, but I like it and can't wait to hear more from her new album. Compare the two songs and let me know what you think I can hear a similarity can you?

I'm A Slave For Blue & Green

After hearing Britney's new song I had the urge to go on YouTube and watch her previous videos, which always seem to intrigue me. When I was watching I'm A Slave For You I constantly found myself trying to get a better look at her make-up. I loved the use of blues and greens. Now It defiantly isn't an everyday look more of a night. So I wanted to tone it down to make it an everyday look. Unfortunately my camera doesn't pick up the colors that well when photographed, but trust me it looks great in person. If you want to know or see the products I used just leave a comment. 

Color Me Purple

Every two weeks I get my nails done and depending on the month or holiday I like to play around with color. Since it's February and Valentines Day is just around the corner I decided to paint my nails purple since they were pink the past 2 weeks. And next time they'll be red. So I wanted to share with you guys some great colors I've come across that work great for the month of February. The first is a pretty pink by China Glaze called Pink Underground, the second color is by OPI in the color red called Edin-Burgundy, next is the purple I'm wearing by Ulta in the color Tutu Cute, and last but not least is a crisp white also by OPI called Alpine Snow. I hope you guys go out and check out some of these colors that are great for this month. And don't forget to have some fun with your nail color because it also acts as a extra accessory.

So I haven't posted on here for a very long time, but I want to get back into it and start posting again. I think its a great outlet to share knowledge of the 1 thing I love FASHION. I hope that everyone who views this blog will take something away from it.

Hey guys ok so Im new to blogging but I'm pretty much going to be a fashion blogger. I live and breathe fashion. Im a fashion marketing major @ the Art Institute. So I'll start to do more posting starting tomorrow. But until I figure out to upload pics on here I'll just tell you what Im wearing today. So today I keep it simple with flare jeans, boots, and a black turtle neck.
